It was too far out, and we were the only guests. Instad, we found a nice hotel in Melbourne, and have spent two peaceful weeks here. The weather has not been the best, thus we have had enough time for indoors activities and touring by trains and trams :-)
Tomorrow we are going by train to Brisbane via Sydney, spending one night in Sydney. We hope that our journey will be without problems, the fires are still raging in the area.
We have transferred some pictures from Fiji, Kiribati and New Zealand, more to come when my web master finds time. I shipped most of the pictures on CDs to him, since transmission speed from Australia to Norway is very slow. Here in Melbourne, we found an internet cafe with a better connection, thus there are also pictures from Perth, Adelaide and Melbourne.
