| From Malaysia to South Africa |
|
| We spent two lovely weeks in Malaysia, where we met a lot of nice people. |

After arriving at the world's finest airport KLIA, we went to Port Dickson, where we spent 3 days at Avillion Resort. At Avillion we met Inger and her family, norwegians who live in Kuala Lumpur, and Nora who works at the hotel, and her son Abdur. Nora has sent me three pictures taken at a festival in PD, where Avillion won 1st price in a parade, link below.
The rest of our time in Malaysia was spent in Kuala Lumpur, at the Hotel Equatorial. In KL Inger introduced us to other Norwegians. After six months of speaking norwegian (almost) only to eachother, it was lovely to be able to speak our own language!
We did what we normally do in big cities around the world: Sightseeing by foot and by train, and internetting :-)
14.02 we left for Johannesburg via Singapore. We arrived Jo'burg early this morning, at 05.20 local time, and we are now VERY tired. The time difference between Malaysia and South Africa is 6 hours, + we did not sleep very well on the plane.
Singapore Airport was also very impressive, with a lot more shops and things to do than KLIA. But KLIA is newer, more elegant, prettier ....
Our safari tour starts wednesday 20 februar from here, and ends on Zanzibar, Tanzania, 14 march. Next english update will probably be from Tanzania, where we will stay a couple of weeks after the safari tour.
